my go-to pasta dish

It’s that age old question that is dreaded in pretty much every household, including mine.. “What do you want for dinner?”

Don’t get me wrong, I love to be organised and have the house full of food but recently this hasn’t been the case. I’ve been too busy focusing on work to care about my stomach needs.

Not to blow my own trumpet or anything but this pasta dish hits the spot every time – it’s even been praised as a likeness to Dominos BBQ Pizza (don’t ask me how).

Now I do have a minor confession.. it isn’t actually my recipe.

I know what you’re all thinking – I’m not a cheat. technically this came from my better half so it still counts as mine!

I’d love to know if you guys try this out, it’s one of my favourite quick and easy dinner!

Ingredients

3 Garlic Cloves
Half a red Chilli
Tomato Passata
Bacon (I use an entire pack)

Method

-crush and chop the garlic, chilli(s) and bacon into small pieces.

-after you’ve prepared all your ingredients add the bacon into a heated pan and leave it to fry.

-when the bacon starts to gain some colour, add the garlic & chilli and fry until the garlic also gains colour.

-now add the passata/chopped tomatoes – I opt for passata as I hate actual tomato pieces, leave to simmer for around 5 minutes until the liquid is thickening

-by now the pasta should be cooked so drain it and add it to the pan with the sauce – don’t worry if its not drained completely
